Just read that Ragin Cajuns MBB player Kentrell Garnett is now the nation's leader in career 3 point FG percentage at over 43. I imagine that rating requires a certain no. of 3 point attempts. Still quite an accomplishment for someone who started his career as a walkon. Beyond that offensive stat, he regularly guards the opponent's best perimeter player. If you listen to the most recent We're Talkin podcast, you will hear about a new defensive role that may become more frequent for him (yes that is a tease). Hopefully this recognition does not result in something similar to the Sports Illustrated cover jinx for Kentrell.
