Not sure he had permission to land it where it was landed (did a pretty good job on the baseball field). You never knew where you would find HUD . . . he was everywhere.

He didnt do it all on his own. You dont just show up at peoples scheduled events to speak, you have to be invited or someone in the department is in charge of lining these things up.

    That is 180 degrees unrelated.

If what you, are saying is true.

Louisiana Athletics has shown zero initiative before or since.

A lot can be read into that inaction.

Just wondering, how else would you think these things happened?

Or someone was in the department for during that time that isn’t anymore. They did more if it under Bustle as well. Again, unless Mike is specifically turning the things down, you can’t blame him for the lack of opportunities. Nobody should expect our coach to arrange these things.

We still attend games for all UL sports, but just purchase tickets to the individual games we decide to attend.

So what has my family done with the thousands of dollars we have saved the last few years since we dropped all those tickets and personal seat donations? We have gone on several AWESOME family vacations and made unforgettable memories with our children and grandchildren.

...but don't worry, as soon as my wife, kids, & grandkids start telling me how much they miss watching Marlin ball at the CajunDome, we will stop with the fun filled vacations and be back in our seats. Just a heads up, don't hold your breathe.
This has become unbelievably common with Maggard in the AD seat.

I believe that commenced long before Maggard. Covid allowed many to realize and appreciate the plus and home sports entertainment who would otherwise have never even thought about trying it. It is now so much harder to draw some away from that means of sports entertainment. It is what it is.

And some think the problem is no mascot. Right now… that is the LEAST of our problems.
