Soon as WW and the show cause deal is over, he’ll be looking around quicker than a sailor with shore leave after a year at sea. Heck, if he has an agent, might be underway already.

It started the second he figured out he had to do his penance at Micky Neese.

They like taking on Alice Shoe’s sloppy leftovers. Wilson and WW are prime examples. Logic like Peter Griffin towards Lois and KISS. IYK,YK.

Maybe yall should play in Lafayette Highs gym to make Cajun games more cozy. Downsize like y’all are doing to the football field.

If we ever have the opportunity to build our own basketball arena, it will likely be slightly larger than the Legacy Center in Lake Charles.

We feel he needs to be more than a basement dweller unlike your previous avatar.
For what it’s worth, rumor has it Marlin and several players made it out to a rec league opening ceremonies couple weekends ago and engaged with all the kids.

They also did some community visits over the Christmas holidays.

I am not in any way defending Wade, but the sentence in bold print above illustrates what happens when a coach engages with his fan base in an exciting way.

If we are honest, much of our FB attendance rise during the Hudspeth years was directly attributable to the way Hud and his staff interacted with fans.

It ain’t happening. New contract hasn’t even kicked in. In a few sports, UL have HCs exciting as a soap dish. But MH is happy.

HUD is the master at creating buy-in of the community from the richest guy in business to the poorest kid in public school. He definitely had the “it” factor.

I don't go to or watch every sport, but among the ones I do watch, only Softball has a coach who really excites his fan base.

The soap dish was very active during the Covid years.

And even with downsizing our football field, it's still almost twice the size of your high school stadium in Lake Charles. Worry about actually winning a game before worrying about how many people we bring.
