This statement is so short-sided. It's more like....this coach/admin have done NOTHING for YEARS....now Marlin says ONE thing and we're supposed to all just jump back on board and now everything is back where it should be with the program? Sorry man. It's taken years of of this admin doing nothing to improve things...even doing things that are opposed to getting more fan involvement, and it's gonna take more than ONE forced statement from Coach Milquetoast to change it. Sorry.....not sorry.

Of course everyone wants Hud the rah rah guy SOMETIMES. But let his kids sing along to a song denigrating a cult figure and all of a sudden he is persona non grata. Sure Marlin probably could and should do more on the PR front but my point is that he does what some of yall want and it gets turned into a negative somehow.
If some of you could step back and see the echo chamber that you exist in, it would be eye-opening. Re: the guy talking about a basement dweller.

Just like his antics on courtside and your behavior with fans on the FB page.
This. The entitlement factor is what killed the vibe here.

I'll still be there tomorrow night.

When Marlin leaves, what will the next season look like in attendance? Curious how big the bump will be and if it is maintained?
Not sure what Mcneese had before Slick willy but I am guessing its higher now and will drop when he moves on.

OK, have a nice day. You are welcome to come and support the Cajuns Thursday night. I would love to see you out there.

1,800 last year, averaging around 3,600 since Wade came back.

Naw, they’re under 2900 per their SID. WW already made a pitch, the SID did one yesterday.

And they only received ONE vote the past two weeks, not in the top 25 as was espoused on RP.

I do expect it will go up now that school is in session.

Even with an anomaly like will wade they still have “decent” attendance. The man himself is a good coach but he’s also a sideshow. He literally comes out of the tunnel after the team is already on the court and he walks through a WWE style entrance with smoke coming out of it. They sold out the game against the Cajuns and while it was a good crowd, there were plenty of empty seats in there.

Thanks for that tidbit, I forgot he wasn't there to start the season.

Wade was suspended for the 1st 10 games. his first game back was against the fighting Marlins.

And? Doesn't change the numbers from the SID. Probably WW could of been there, and they'd suffer the same when UL plays crappy teams. College of Biblical Studies, Champion Christian, LeTourneau and Mississippi University for Women wouldn't pack them in anywhere.

And WW's first game back was against Southern Miss, and the game was in LC.

Not backing what's happening at UL, but if you're throwing shade, at least get it right.

That was my mistake, though it was that Sunday. However, still, 3,500 attended that game. Just pointing out the fact Wade's average is significantly higher than when he wasn't there. Even against a decent team like UT-Martin attendance was 2,220.

We average 4k fans vs conference teams..2 games and one of those was freezing roads. You liked our comeback the other night on national TV? Third Sportscenter Top 10 of the season. We’re enjoying this season.

    Averaging 4k vs conference teams?
