OT: Restore and Bring Back Hayden Speedway!

Hi everyone,

Back in early December, I created a petition on change.org in hopes of restoring and reviving an old dirt racing track in Hayden, Colorado. The track is just an hour from where I live, but it closed in 2018 and the whole facility is currently in very rough condition. One of my main reasons for doing this is to give fans across Routt County, Colorado a place to watch racing nearby. The closest auto racing track is 3 and 1/2 hours away from here.

I know this has nothing to do with Ragin' Cajuns athletics, but it's been 3 weeks since anyone has signed my petition, so I'm starting to reach out a little more. I don't think so, but it was featured on "Lost Dirt Tracks" which is a social media account.

I grew up within earshot of the old Down South MX track in Coteau. Wonder if it’s still operating.

Every now and then Roadkill checks out old race tracks. there are many abandoned tracks all over the place.
