we can do it! our big alumni need to step it up if we want to grow our collective just as USM or Tulane. We have super donor power, they just choose not to donate to athletics like other universities.
So far in 2024 only Michigan has seen any return on NIL investments.
The first thing that needs to happen for our NIL collective is for them to be transparent. I know it has not even been a year but there should be an annual report showing the amount generated, which sport the monies went to, how many players the money went to. Set a goal. Show where we are at and where we need to get to compared to our peers. This will help generate more money.
I think with time all the above will come as our collective is still very young.
