Thread: Chances of getting Pete Carmichael to UL?

Default Chances of getting Pete Carmichael to UL?

With him being let go from the Saints, what are the chances of him becoming OC for UL.

I am sure he will be offered better jobs then us. I am kinda on the spectrum of never hurts to try.

We need a OC, and a consultant for Dez.

I am sure des won’t have to call. Pete probably cleaned his desk got in his car and headed straight to Lafayette. No brainer. Obvious next stop for him.

He worked at Louisiana Tech for a while. Spent the majority of his coaching career in Louisiana.

It’ll take a little convincing, what is our budget for OC?

All this may seem funny, but it’s very apparent our program is relying on retreads from ULMost to find coaches. It is hard to say the future looks bright.

The only way I want to see Pete Carmichael with the Cajuns is if he is coaching under Sean Payton. PC only success was on the coattails of SP.
