There are roster limitations with us only losing a handful of players to the portal to consider. Not saying we couldn't be more aggressive, but I, for one, think less turnover is better.

We’d better hope so. There’s no reason to keep players who aren’t advancing as quickly as hoped when signed. It’s a totally different situation than the year before he got the job

I don’t know how many late portal transfers we will have, but our defense got some major talent from the portal.

It feels like everyone in the SBC is getting portal players but us. Marshall landed two 4 star players in the last 2 hours. JMU is adding huge players as expected.
Just seems like our portal strategy is comparable to ULM & ODU… hopefully we get some big names soon

JMU has lost 25 players to the portal, a number of starters. There is no way this will not affect the product on the field including the staff changes. This will be the case at USA now because players can now enter the portal. There has been large number of player turnover across the SBC in a number of programs. UL has had the least at this point, so my only concern remains can this staff become more consistent.

It appears we are back in the silent phase for recruiting details.

Bama up to 28 in portal with majority being 4/5 star.....when they lost to UM@ann arbor they were at 5....all bench warmers
