Academia "UL Lafayette"
The law says you have to put an "at" between the two.
The run on phrase infuses "Lafayette" as part of the name.
Its been 40 years, so you, may not remember this but the law simply states that if you us the full "Univeristy of Louisiana" you must include where you are at, with an "at"
This is as a first reference clarifier.
The academic side has been known to use the Lafayette in every utterance over 20 times in one article a few years back.
When the academic side mentions athletics they never use "Louisiana" (which is legal) rarely use Louisiana Ragin Cajuns, but always include UL Lafayette.
Louisiana.edu is legal too.
So, how long do you have to be on RaginPagin to be able to comment? Isn't that why this exists?
Whatever happens and it’s far from over. Cory has accomplished a lot and we are still talking about how we need a mascot more than ever!
