Have you went down the Billy Strings rabbit hole yet? The future of bluegrass is here.

He’s the only person I have a desire to see live.

Stopped in Eureka Springs on the way back from business in OKC. Went to a great hole in the wall tavern called Chelsea’s. Band they had playing that night was named SprungBilly. I listened to hillbilly rock for like 4 months after. Had a new appreciation for it after seeing it live.

Currently have Marcus King on the playlist. Think halfway point between Stapleton and Broussard. Maybe a bit more rock n roll.

Eureka Springs is cool. I saw Ozark Mountain Daredevils there when I was living in AR. As for the bluegrass, some of this stuff on here puts me in mind of the music of Ira and Charlie Louvin, the Louvin brothers. Emmylou Harris covers a lot of their stuff.

    It really is. Hidden gem.

Our careers have taken my wife and I all over this country. Funny how places you never expected continue to come up in conversation. Eureka Springs is one of those places.

Allen stone opened up for Chris Stapleton in November. I had never heard of him. I instantly became a fan. It was the same when Marcus king band opened up for Stapleton in 19. Both are in the shuffle constantly now.

Let me through out a local guy that lives in Nashville he has been playing music for over 45 years Brian Langlinais. He plays his own style of music with a swamp pop influence.
