I know this thread hasn't been used in a minute, but I just wanted to let y'all know that I decided to go ahead and make a new podcast dedicated to music, called "E-Dude Talks Music". This is by no means a replacement of AFR, but rather a new spot for me to discuss something I'm also very passionate about! Just curious if any RP’ers went to the Turnpike Troubadours show in BR last night. What an insanely talented lineup. It was my first real experience with Trampled By Turtles. Elite level musicianship.

Turnpike was great. They did have trouble getting the sound levels right but overall a good show. Missed them in Red Rocks by a little bit last month.

If you’ve never seen JJ Gray live before you’re in for a treat. I think they sound better live. It made me a bigger fan. Same with Cody Johnson. I saw him in Nola end of May. I was somewhat of a fan but watching him live made me appreciate his music that much more. He was awesome.

Very cool! I haven't seen very many of those bands perform but I did see The Wallflowers back in 2022, and they're pretty good!

Any of yall into Zach Top? He basically sounds like he was plucked directly off of 90s country radio. Personally I prefer more of the 70s sounds, but he’s still enjoyable. Saw him at the Texas Club in BR a couple nights ago. That place was absolutely packed with college kids. Definitely a huge market nowadays for more traditional country. Curious how much of it will make it to radio.
