Louisiana Athletics, RCAF Simplify Season Ticket Pricing

The Louisiana Department of Athletics, in partnership with the Ragin' Cajuns Athletic Foundation, announced an effort to simplify the season ticket pricing structure to make it easier for Ragin' Cajuns fans to support their favorite teams.

Louisiana Athletics currently sells season tickets to four of its programs home events, including football, men's basketball, baseball and softball.

Previously, there were various price points for both season tickets, per seat donations (PSDs), and Champions Fund giving level requirements.

Moving forward, starting with the 2024 Louisiana Football season, each sport will have just one season ticket price with a Champions Fund Fee requirement that will vary based upon seat location.

Further, all Champions Fund Fees will count towards fans total RCAF Champions Fund Contribution for the year, which determines additional benefits such as parking and tailgating locations.

Has to be a balance, sounds bad but this saints fan will die in a few years anyways and they have to come up with ways to attract younger fans to take his place. He mentions its a "societal problem" and he is right about that but we have to find ways to adapt to that as well. Long term they have to think who will fill the seats in 5, 10, 20 years from now without completely ____ing off the older crowds.

I saw 75,000 people singing to "dont stop believing" in Reliant Stadium Saturday and swag surfing with Ms Swift at Arrowhead stadium ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA...if you think that doesn't resinate with younger crowd you are being naive.

They are trying to turn these things into an event, it is the only way to get people to these games and drop the amount of money required. Football games arent enough anymore.

Crowds are capable of doing these things stadium wide songs without piped in music.

Baseball is a much more structured sport. Organs "pipes" have always been a part of the game.

Having noted that, football overtook baseball as America's favorite sport without pipes.

This is similar to VaTech and “Sandman” and others. It hypes the crowd.

The point is the CONSTANT filling in downtimes every time. Don’t worry, the dome isn’t changing. I know at least one large RCAF donor asked if the volume could be lowered in the dome and was told no.
