If anyone knows the financial ramifications of the change of schedule from MS to WF, please let us know. Are we paying MS the $500,000 liquidated damages fee? What will we be paid by WF to go there and play? Inquiring fans want to know.

I keep seeing reports that Michigan State is still looking for an opponent because Louisiana pulled out to play Wake Forest. Doesn't sound like they were making room for a 9th conference game. Should be easy enough to confirm.

If that is in fact true, why did we back out? Other than weather I would think MSU would be a better chance at a win. They were terrible last year and are bringing in a new staff. Seems like an early season game against them would be winnable.

Personally I like a game with Wake Forest, just not a fan of how it came down or the lack of transparency or explanation, communication.

I believe the games are on different dates. Wish we would play both teams and cancel a game vs. a G5 team instead.
