No doubt…but we also downgraded at both positions. It can be argued Farmer is a lateral hire but these aren’t big wins.

I guess the Duke fan base is saying the same thing about hiring Norrid from a G5. Hiring from P5 Syracuse doesn't seem lateral to me. I like both hires. We needed experienced upgrades on X&Os. We got that in both.

He wasn’t hired from Syracuse. He was unemployed.

Ron Roberts was a HC that left to be a coordinator a little different.

Both great coaches. Stoker is like an older mini HUD. Dude has a lot of passion.

Scott Stoker, son of Butch Stoker long time head coach at ASH. Scott was a HS QB that made his mark on the defensive side of the ball. Intense player and coach.
I think it is a great hire. A former HC and DC.

Jeff Norrid is a proven commodity and well respected in coaching circles. (That comes from Rob Sale.)

    He is a huge loss.

Billy Napier said CMD was a great hire. So there is that.

Have you ever made a positive comment? How could you not be impressed with the experience of the experience that both coaches bring to the staff.

The truth hurts.. One has been unemployed the last 2 Novembers . The other a coach from a made up sounding D2 transitioning college.

Billy also went for 2 down 11...can you really trust his judgment?
