You are stuck on getting them to come back ... but it can't happen if you don't get them there in the firs place.

Dr. Maggard is a very smart individual and surely he has thought about some of these ideas, or at a minimum, has had them pitched his way. Don't forget that Martin Hall is pulling the strings on lots of decisions and likely has vetoed many things Maggard has wanted to implement.

Has Dr. Maggard ever been here when we had real excitement around our basketball program?

No he hasn't. I feel like if he had experienced what it can be he wouldn't be okay settling for what it currently is.

Hoping tonight's game has a decent crowd and energy like the Cajun Chicken game last year vs Marshall.

He was at Missouri. Not many places with more basketball enthusiasm as in Columbia, Missouri.

Speaking of, have yall seen the graphics on Twitter from Tony Altimore showing revenue generation on a per seat basis? It’s broken down by conference.

Missouri, by far, struggles to make money off of their fans more than any program in the SEC. I find that extremely interesting considering we are facing the exact same issues here and the many Missouri ties we have in the athletic department.

Anyway, our AD seems to have thrown in the towel with regard to fan engagement and outreach. Lots of “why try” moments over the last year or so.

When your boss doesn’t want the highest levels of success, it’s hard to stay motivated.
