The ncaa seems to do worse in investigation where there is actual hard evidence and proof

First: Unless you are a graduate student you can enter at any time.

Second: No athlete has to commit or sign right now. They can enroll and be put on a Pell Grant that would go against their Scholarship. They would sign in February. Or wait until after Spring Practice. UL signee Gooch committed to Texas Tech but was offered $40K for the Spring Semester for basically a tryout for a scholarship.

I dont think being a lawyer gives any leg up on understanding NIL, as no laws were passed implementing it

NIL is anything goes. Coaches can't contact players until in portal BUT an unlimited # of "3rd parties" can......so indirect contact to recruit other teams players is 100% OK

Basically everything Will Wade was trying to do at LSU in buying players is now fully endorsed by NCAA......Business As Usual.
