Overall solid win tonight. As others mentioned, it was nice to see the inside game shine in the 2nd half rather than relying on the 3 pointers.
Let’s enjoy the break and then get ready for conference play starting with Marshall.

Solid play on both ends of the court. Good job by the coaching staff tonight to keep control of the game.
I liked the look of their fieldhouse and wish we had that intimate venue. What, exactly, is so great about the Cajundome for basketball when 2500 fans are there?
I wonder if it would be possible to install a drop ceiling for basketball to make it more intimate and take out the upper level. Something that could easily be removed for concerts and larger events.
A 4K arena doesn’t work for concerts. A 12k arena for the vast majority of D1 MBB teams doesn’t work either.
The powers that were at the time wanted a multipurpose building large enough for concerts and monster trucks. And it had to be precast concrete to get the votes for it.
Our best defensive game of the year as well as rebounding. We had a nice balance of scoring there with 6 guys in double figures. I'm a little worried about our bench though. We have too many guys playing 30+ minutes and I wonder how that could affect guys like Julien who's never been able to stay healthy and he's playing all those extended minutes. We had 7 guys with double digit minutes but Michael Thomas only played 10 so that puts the weight of minutes on all the other starters. If Kitenge gets in foul trouble we could be in trouble with lack of depth.
The 5 points Hardy scored at Rice came at critical times. Ratliff seems to think too long at times which prevents him from playing instinctively.
