Any word on if Mike has intentions of giving up play calling?

Apparently that law doesn’t apply to the ULS what with the Grambling president getting the job.

No, he has two guys on the sideline with him in Munoz and Leger that were OC's in college football and he hasn't let either of them call plays.

Well, that's unfortunate, but the defensive side of the ball needs immediate attention.

We need a new DC (defense was atrocious) and someone to call plays other than Des (play calling was atrocious). Let Des be the HC and let an OC call plays. Munoz and Leger should be able to handle that.

Do people only work at places they know someone? Is having connections a pre-requisite to interviewing for a job? Everyone complains we didn’t do a “national search” but expect Mike to only hire people he knows. He doesn’t have to know everyone he hires, just like you can go work for a company where you don’t know anyone.

This will be his and Napiers demise.

Wish we could hire him back. The team was the best conditioned and seemed to have far less injuries during his time here

Rob was one hell of an O Line coach but definitely wasnt a true OC although he carried the title. Napier ran the offense while Rob was here

Most of the atrocious offensive plays would have worked with average skill levels. The defense? Clearly we didn’t have enough quality players to play one on one pass defense. Instead tried the soft zone defense that rarely works. It lets the opponent burn clock and generally a score, too often a touchdown.

I dont care if we get a polite or an offensive coordinator...
So long as we get someone who can call good plays based on: available talent and the on field dynamics
