The fact is I’ve never heard of this until my fifties on RaginPagin. Parents are pure French Cajuns from Canadian times, that’s 4 centuries. Not a single word about these wearwolves ever uttered In my family.

I know, many have but I never heard of it till I was an adult.

Although... my mom told the story of me coming home from the neighbors and being deathy afraid of a Boog-a-la. I might have heard it wrong, kids don't listen well.

I don't know if I've heard this before, but possibly a "Traiteur" might have some potential if done correctly. I think it's unique to our culture. Just a thought.....
