My dad would tell us the story of my great-grandfather Aubrey Brasseaux encountering a Bigfoot like creature in the marsh around Prairie Gregg.
Him and a couple of his friends were hunting around sunset, and they heard something in the grass. The area where they were had grass taller than them so they couldn't see. One of them put Aubrey on his shoulders to see. Aubrey said he could make out the head of something about 100 feet away. He yelled "Arret! Arret!", but the thing kept coming. Aubrey fired his shotgun and dropped it. A few seconds later, the thing got back up and started running at them. They ran.
I'm guessing it was a huge bear on his hind legs, but you never now......
WAY to much education required to make a wolf work.
And still after a century of intense searching no evidence. These creatures must live underground like a mole. But moles are easily found.
I had a boudin king cake last night. Boudin is real, and it would make a great mascot
Boudin is too close to Bouder (prounounced Boo De') (booday) the French Cajun word for pout, cry or sulk.
