Overall the SEC is at the top, but projecting an outside teams lack of potential success is still SEClusive.
I'm not an LSU fan, and I will fully admit that Washington would manhandle the team I support.
As to your point, Washington actually beat 5 ranked programs because they played Oregon twice. And if you use end of season rankings, only 4 of those programs are ranked today if you're counting Oregon twice. Bama beat four ranked programs (using either mid-season or end of season rankings) without any repeats.
My point isn't that Bama is better than Washington. My point is that if Washington had to play a schedule like what Ole Miss, South Carolina, or Auburn had to play, there's simply no way that Washington makes it through without a single loss. And even if Washington only takes one loss through an SEC gauntlet (depending on when the loss comes) they likely wouldn't even be in the playoff conversation.
