Wish that they were keeping dirt on the pitching mound. I believe someone said that they were going with turf there also
The stripes look much better than I expected. The “dirt” also looks much more natural.
Field looks amazing. Really hurts my heart that the mound is not dirt.
Wonder what Gunner's take is on this? Also curious to what pitchers today prefer to pitch on. As a former pitcher, I could not imagine not pitching on dirt.

It looks better than what I was expecting. It still has a weird transition from infield to outfield and centerfield looks odd as well. I get they wanted to have one solid color to paint Ragin Cajuns out there. Not a fan of the painted logos in the outfield but it still looks better than what we had before.
