Hmmm. You might be right. Do you have a little bird or any inside info?

just guessing based off of designs like the red sox do and some other pro and college teams.

Wish that they were keeping dirt on the pitching mound. I believe someone said that they were going with turf there also

    Yeah, it's turf.

That will be lit. Can’t wait for mid Feb baseball. I have my cold weather clothes and wool kangol hat ready to see some baseball.

The stripes look much better than I expected. The “dirt” also looks much more natural.

Field looks amazing. Really hurts my heart that the mound is not dirt.

Wonder what Gunner's take is on this? Also curious to what pitchers today prefer to pitch on. As a former pitcher, I could not imagine not pitching on dirt.

Got my tickets for the Houston tournament.

On the mound, I wonder how it affects the foot plan?

…..Just remember the photos of the pitcher with Bermuda shorts…..kick ups/wind ups might be different on turf!

    It is what it is.

Maybe we can win a national championship and afford to go back to natural grass.

It looks better than what I was expecting. It still has a weird transition from infield to outfield and centerfield looks odd as well. I get they wanted to have one solid color to paint Ragin Cajuns out there. Not a fan of the painted logos in the outfield but it still looks better than what we had before.

It looks way better than I expected. Other teams who have done the stripes have gone way too hard on the contrast.

The center field logo is ugly though. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.
