I would like to be wrong, but those people were only there for the party, to be seen and were not fans, otherwise they'd still be around. They're not coming back.

Absolutly with a snowball growing NY6 season. But only if handled right with each week being a bigger and bigger event with lots of publicity get on board advertising with in person events for non paying supporters all season long.
