Players can’t control who their opponent is. They can only control their effort. Those efforts must be fine at home recently. I have not heard anyone who has actually attended a home game complain about how the team played since the end of the 21-22 season. 5 games in the winning streak are against non D1 teams. Now a non competitive game tends to not be very entertaining after halftime. I want the number of non D1 games we play to be reduced as much as anyone of you. I certainly would make an effective to insure we never have 2 consecutive of those again. I think this year was an anomaly and I doubt that happens again. Still we have won 14 straight over D1 teams at home. That is equivalent to an entire season.

What’s Marlin’s excuse when he has no NCAA sanctions?

When is the last time we had a big road win like that, Wade did it after only a handful of games.

We won at Mississippi State in the early 2000's. I think it was November of 2002. Despite his personal issues, there is no doubt Will Wade can coach. He would not have won so many games in so many different places were he not skilled in his profession. Now, he has always managed to get good players. That is the first part of coaching however. In last night's game vs Michigan, the TCU transfer named Wells had 30 points. Michigan has struggled some this year. Last night was their second home loss of the season. Earlier they lost to Long Beach State, the team the Cajuns beat in their last game of the Florida tournament. Long Beach has not lost since that game and that includes a win at USC.

    Yep NOV 2002

Miss St #12 in the Country

    Brad Boyd ( 33 Points / 9 Threes )

    Anthony Johnson ( 27 Points / 10 Rebs )

I hope the team wins, cause I love the kids that come play for us… But it’s such a disconnect with the team and the Community and that is the reason we only have 500 people at the games… The team is actually pretty good, Defending Champs, 20 Something game winning streak , and nobody wants to go to games. You Gotta understand why!!!

Yeah, I'd hate to have a coach that could do that, lol.

    Its a mindset.

Play the games early and often, if you miss the boat change coaches.

It helps when Michigan out right sucks. Howard might of did well in year 2 of his tenure but it’s been a downward slide since and should have been fired when he struck a Wisconsin assistant coach. But he’s a Michigan man. They’re going nowhere this season.

That is why you schedule hard each and every year.

The odds of catching a team in a down year average up.

Average up and you are soon above average.
