If anyone ever wants to know who the most hated university is in Louisiana, just pay a visit to X. Everyone, and I mean everyone, is rooting against us. They are all threatened one way or the other. Embrace it…let the hate flow through you.

We are hated by everyone because we want to be better. Everyone else is LSU A&M first. We have a strong UL only fanbase. Not as many as we would like but enough to not be the bandwagon followers that most other schools alumni are in this state.
It’s why the state of Louisiana is last in every metric. Instead of striving for better its the same status quo.
Take pride in what we have!
Geaux UL
But bob gets hate when he says we are everyone’s Super Bowl. Maybe not everyone but the fact is people get up to play us. In every fkin sport. At the same time it’s our coaches’ jobs to have our players prepared to play whether it’s football softball/baseball or basketball. Our team was prepared today. 2 little _____ refs made sure that we didn’t walk out with a W. Blake butler got his 4th on a bullsht call and Themus got screwed too. Y’all can hate all y’all want but these clowns rushed the floor after beating little ol ull. Lots of purple in that crowd and they will he gone next year when wade leaves them in the dust. I’m proud of the fight tonight. We were ready
Marlin post game quote.
"Ultimately, we were a basket away from stealing this game."
What the heck does that mean? He went into the game thinking the team wasn't going to win?
hope the team at least had some time to tour historic lake chuck.
All I asked for was no moral victory talk when losing to McNeese…
You aren’t wrong about the purple in that building though. McNeese fans don’t love WW because he’s a good, entergetic, young coach. They love him because of his P&G ties. When he moves on, I’ll be surprised if the level of support maintains even if some other young guy is brought in. Maybe if they keep the NIL up enough to buy a roster every year. Which would beg the question why can’t we fundraise like that.
