Being very selective and not using is something completely different. We have used the portal fairly successfully, but we aren’t building a roster through the portal.

I guess so. Then they can come here and have a good year and transfer out. That way we can be exactly what no real fan wants to be, a farm system for other schools. At that point we will be in complete small-time USL directional school mode. But don't worry, we can go 6-6 every year and pull for Da Flagship when we want to see significant college football success in Louisiana.

McGriff was OK.....he was a JC transfer that can be easily replaced via JC

We are at 3 with a few more to go.....for all the negative nancies out there we are still a solid TEN portals below average.

Post bowl Day #3.......3 in portal. Me? I am very encouraged.....so far. Lowest in Sun Belt and one of the lowest in FBS.

At 4, UL still one the lowest in all of FBS.....BUT.......that 4th portal sucks
