On April 8, 2010 Deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office arrested Stephen Broussard on an active warrant for armed robbery. The robbery occurred at Broussard Grocery in Loreauville on the 29th of March. Stephen Johnson is believed to have robbed the clerk at gunpoint and made off with over $200 in cash.
Detectives received information that Broussard was hiding at a residence on A Street in Loreauville. Detectives and K-9 units surrounded the residence, Broussard exited without incident. He was then booked into the Iberia Parish Jail on a warrant for armed robbery.
