I personally would like to see the stadium bowled. Since that will not happen as we are keeping the grassy area open, the stadium would have an overall "finished" look if we mirrored the NEZ concessions to look like the SEZ concessions. It would give people on that side of the stadium their own concession area. You could still build some kind of standing room lounging area at the top of the hill and keep a smaller grassy area below it. And, the new video board would sit above the concession area. It just looks unfinished in its present form.
Sidebar. Are we doing anything about the brown/black concrete? I know that we won’t see it in the few instances where we have a packed stadium, but otherwise it looks like crap with the brown/black mold on there now.
I think the worst thing you can do is get rid of the hill! You know how many parents wouldnt go because it does keep there kids entertained. Thats why I advocate for a promenade or just say a party deck, probably 30% or more just come to socialize and have no interest in football. Also probably more have kids that where the kids have no interest in the game.
So if i am a parent and the kid doesnt want to go to the game how many parents will still go?
We got to think differently.
If we bowled in the NEZ and make it like the SEZ university is making a huge mistake!
ULM has more fans in there L Club that pay 30 bucks to sit in at a table bs with friends and have access to a bar. Then paying 20 bucks to sit in the stands.
Me i rather sit in the stands. Now yall live in Lafayette all yall live and are from around Lafayette.
Do you think people would just come to a game and sit at tables or standing room only with a bar and chairs, and games talking among associates or friends vs. sitting in the stands to watch football?
