Not only "mirrored" design but actually Mirror out the glass.
Through the years I was praying someone would actually mirror out all that glass on the west side box (old press box structure). Even better, mirrored black glass. The sight of all those shades all pulled down to varying degrees just made it look like dog s%^&.
I agree!!! The student side should have a lot of covered areas to help escape rain & sun.
Tulane exposed some weaknesses off the field. 20 years ago the smartphone didn't exist so take the unfortunate situation which occurred, multiply by a "post" on social for 25% of those smartphones and the whole damn town knows its not where you wanna be at that place and time. Flip side, have phones live broadcasting amazing new Swamp.
With both sides redone, will it be Soccer ready?
Probably long enough for a regulation soccer pitch, but sidelines not a safe size. Probably similar to Independence Stadium in Shreveport, corners are very tight to stadium structure.
Width is an issue, football is 53.3 yards while soccer is 70 to 80.
NCAA regulation field is 115 to 120 long x 70 to 75 wide.
