Property taxes? By district? Hush your mouth!

The vast majority of citizens pay ZERO property taxes. And yet they are allowed to vote property taxes onto those who actually pay the property taxes. This is one of greatest injustices ever.

Our great university should lead the effort to change this injustice. Renew the American democracy! Please, dear God, let the Louisiana political science department SAVE our state.

Bingo. I was a bit annoyed at the last round of proposed property tax increases . Teachers etc on social media saying it would only raise your taxes by X amount…. Yeah if your property isn’t worth much

Agree to a point. The same crowd that yells for property taxes USUALLY have two things in common. One, they rent and two complain when those taxes, when applied to businesses, prices go up and call said businesses greedy.

I wish I was one of the vast majority! I also wish I knew what I was doing wrong.

There is a mostly empty 12 block stretch next to the track between Jefferson and Taft.

    Thats kinda close to downtown.

Who knows, that may be what they want.

Between the the two Evangeline thruway roads would have been so clean a look for the city.
