There is a MASSIVE difference in winning the SBC Championship in Football and potentially making the CFP than winning the SBC Championship in basketball only to make the NCAA.

One takes almost a perfect season while the other takes 3 games in March.

I respectfully disagree. To achieve an SBC Championship in football is more than one good season, it’s a great season which deserves an extension.

And still gave up 526 yards.

The three scores were single plays. Important stops, yes. But often when the “one play cost us the game” point is brought up, here’s a great example of the big picture why all plays matter. Three stops, 21 points, and still got ran over like a frog on the highway after a rainstorm.

And the offense did too many 3 and outs.
