I don't think we should be taking pot shots at CMD. I think it's fair for fans to say they think it's time for a change without insulting him like that. He deserves a little bit more respect.
He will be our coach next year. Hope he can make necessary adjustments this off-season (coaching personnel, play-calling responsibilities, etc. everything should be on the table).
Again, I respect everyone's opinion, but Des does not deserve insults beyond a wish for a change from some.
I’m really ____ed and don’t see any solutions in sight. Like M$M said, the culture is dead.
Not trying to detract.
People get on Bob. Boosters love him and he gets passes. Winning enough and at really critical times when you think about a contract.
Bob is at least animated. He’ll get tee d up and you really kind of expect it. Say what you want, but it’s emotion.
Players seem to love Des. I get that too. But the optics are that he’s just that. A really good dude that players like, but ineffective. It’s a dead sideline presence. And the post game interview just sealed it. “We’re close.” Horse $&@!. You’re not there.
Rich Rod was on fire the whole game. Crap teams can have fired up coaches, but we have no fire.
The defense put 21 points on the board, but still struggled mightily. The offense managed to score 10 points, didn't play well, and the play calling was just bad. This game was a microcosm of the season, inconsistent play, poor coaching, and unmet expectations.
The #cULture has unraveled. If we're serious about playing competitive football, then change is the only answer.
This is the voice of reason.
Dez is a lame duck coach heading into ‘24. He has to win the SBC to change my opinion.
A perfect summation of...everything.
