You said “it’s not like Vanderbilt is a powerhouse” well their DC is at Michigan now and produced a historically dominant defense, but I guess we are a notch above Michigan in regards to where we get our coaches. It also translated to the 36th ranked defense in the country in his first year as the DC here.
