He is not eligible for the College HOF because he was not a First Team All American which is one of their requirements.

I was not aware of this particular criteria. I don't like it. I looked up the criteria and Cajun90 is correct.

I do believe that Brian Mitchell will some day become our first member of the NFL Hall of Fame. Sometimes it takes a while. It took decades before Ray Guy was finally selected, and anyone that ever watched him play knew he belonged.
