I do believe that Brian Mitchell will some day become our first member of the NFL Hall of Fame. Sometimes it takes a while. It took decades before Ray Guy was finally selected, and anyone that ever watched him play knew he belonged.
It's an NFL market. The people there aren't interested in college football for the most part. I don't care about his political views, he's not in Congress.
Brian Mitchell played 10 seasons as a running back and return specialist in Washington, eclipsing over 3,400 rushing yards in 159 games. One game sticks out to him more clearly than all others, probably because it later became known as the "Body Bag Game."B
And yes, it was against the Philadelphia Eagles
