Probably not a good idea, I think we all remember how that 'Dolly' thing turned out.Originally Posted by RCAJUN90
Yea, and you never can put everything on DNA, remember Jose Canseco and his identical twin. One was a major league all star and the other never progressed beyond triple A. Still having a triple A in addition to an all star will give your team a lot of potential.Originally Posted by rhineaux
Speaking of Dolly, I hear her mother was originally going to be shipped to either Western Kentucky or LSU, for the cloning process. That all changed after the goat incidents![]()

they thought it would be better to keep her as far away as possible from those two institutions.

Some people take things to literally. What I meant was we need another Brian Mitchell type QB. Perhaps MD is close from what I've seen.Originally Posted by Cajun Express
No, IMO I think you missed his humorOriginally Posted by RCAJUN90

entirely.....
Brian Mitchell was the strongest man on the team. I doubt MD or anyone we have had is close to Brian Mitchell from an athletic, and strength standpoint.Originally Posted by RCAJUN90

stands on Everest, we stand on Monkey Hill and the other athletes stand on mountains in the Sierra Nevada chain.
No I got it. I didn't think it was very funny.Originally Posted by Cajun Express
Surely there's another Brian Mitchell out there we just need to find him. If memory serves he was going to LSU but they didn't even want to think about letting him be QB. That was how he ended up at UL.Originally Posted by Cajun Express
Not funny??? come on, that was primetime quality comedy.Originally Posted by RCAJUN90
I don't remember watching mitchell play that much, but i think that from an athletic standpoint, that MD can probably do just as much to give defenses fits.
There are other great athletes with great character, but there is only one Brian Mitchell. He was never set to go to LSU. LSU was among many schools that wanted Brian, but not at QB. Brian wanted to be a collegiate QB, and Stokley told Brian he would be our QB. Four years of unbelievably great football. He was an incredible runner, but his passing is what amazed me, for a guy of his size and structure. He is a rare athlete.Originally Posted by RCAJUN90
We also got four great years out of Jake Delhomme. And he and Brian have few similarities, except they are quality people with a lot of tenacity. Whatever comes of our future QBs is always a mystery.
We'll see if "Tenacious MD" or "TD MD" or "Doctor MD" or "Mad Dog" or whatever we call him will light up a new era next year. His mama will just call him Michael.
