We need to focus here. Martin Hall will not entertain firing Marlin the year after an NCAA appearance. The time to get the ball rolling in that direction is not now. Wasted energy.

All of our efforts need to go to solving the Sodexo/Cajundome/UL issue. This is a HUGE problem to attracting families to the Dome. If we can't change the contract to allow UL control over concessions for basketball games and control over use of the Dome for basketball, then our time there needs to end. This is destroying the program.

We need to start having serious discussions about rebuilding Blackham just like we are rebuilding Cajun Field. With our history in basketball, I would think that there are enough deep pockets left from the old days to seed this project. It is time we reclaim our history and our basketball program.

I will respectfully disagree. Some of the biggest money people in Rebounder's Club just made a ____ ton of money and got much more time on their hands to meddle in MBB affairs. It should tell you a lot about where their priorities are when the entire fanbase roundly praised getting rid of ticket master, but those folks paying the bills wanted to KEEP ticketmaster because the CajunDome was making money from the fees. And now Rebouder's Club will have to pick up the check for additional expenses. Yes, that actually happened. Rebounder's Club members we're _____ing about ticketmaster being fired.

We just signed this guy to another 3 year contract and these early season results are unacceptable, even with another garbage slate of home games. While we watch App St and peer institutions host (and beat) P5 teams, we're still staring at Loyola New Orleans on the schedule. We pay our HC more than any SBC coach and our assistant pool is top 3. We play int he nicest venue in the south, let alone the SBC. We are in a talent rich area. There is absolutely no excuse for less than 1K fans attending a D1 basketball game in this city.

The fans have spoken with their wallets and their feet. Apathy is at an all time low. If our fanbase doesn't raise holy hell for the next two years, Marlin will finish his contract and our program will never recover from a 20 year stint of Big Fish Ball. We're on life support as it is.

Agree. Great ways to do that are changing leadership and opening new venues, or in this case, rebuilding one of the greatest college basketball digs in history.
