We could have the second coming of Bobby Knight, that still won’t fix the stupid costs of refreshments, the university endorsed vulgar music so loud the bass bottoms out, the down time high school level “entertainment” and prizes, the yellow shirt enforcement unit and now the parking police that combined, make the game day experience a dud. And drives people away.

At the same time, I’m not playing ostrich and ignoring what the NCAA (and ESPN) has done to MBB. The NIT squeeze this year is just another piece of the market the big boys have made almost unattainable. That’s on university presidents that allowed it to happen.

The dome’s historical attendance record says it all. A sinking ship.

This isn’t an endorsement of the present regime. It’s stuff beyond on the court issues.
