We also beat some pretty good teams in the regular season during the Paschal and Fletcher years. Now, we beat NAIA and Southland teams to accumulate wins. That doesn’t move the needle.

Ten years ago, we were beating Houston in the Cajundome. Now, they're a top 10 program who also went to the Final Four.

I'm not saying we should be a Final Four team every year, but a program that can pull off a few more wins against some better non-conference competition to generate some excitement from our fan base.

Western Kentucky is a basketball school. They haven’t been to the NCAA tournament going on 11 years. That’s crazy to me.
