Thread: Red Pill: Cajuns now 2-4 in last 6 games with Tech

  1. Default Red Pill: Cajuns now 2-4 in last 6 games with Tech

This is what happens when you allow our program to be taken hostage by a handful of sycophant boosters. This is what happens when the Pres of the Rebounder Club is best friends with the wives of the coach & the AD.

    It’s deeper than Bob.

And before the Marlin Apologists come for me, just know, you and I both know it's the truth.

This would never be tolerated in a program that has a commitment to excellence. (See baseball and softball)

I’m not coming after you, but 2-4 is one loss more than 3-3. They have one road win more than we have. There’s lots of good reasons to question BM tenure just not this one.

Losing to an instate rival 4 of the last 6 times we've played is not his biggest failure. It's the tip of the iceberg. But that really wasn't the point.

You know what the sad part is?
The support of the program is so dismal that no one even cares anymore.
It truly is a sad state of affairs.

We all should expect better results with a 800K/year basketball coach in the SBC mid major conference. The problem is the "we should all" people are gone. that ship sailed years ago when mediocre basketball was accepted here at UL.

LTUR has been our biggest rival throughout my lifetime. We’ve always been neck and neck with them. Again one win difference in six games isn’t a thing.

Saying "neck and neck" while referring to LTURD.......

From the CCP 'China Education Daily' paper (just kidding its the basketball fan page but hard to tell the difference):

It's always the refs. It's always the circumstance. It's always the crowd. It's never Bob.

So when Bob and the Rebounder Seals were running around crowing about beating them a couple times in a row at their place, and the media ran with that, that was also not a thing, right?

Clearly everyone is entitled to their opinions. IMO Bob should have been gone about a decade ago. I just don’t see this latest stroll down Mediocrity Lane the straw breaking the camel’s back.

I agree that donors need to be on friendly terms with coaches, not close friends.

If anyone watched the game it was clear why we had so many fouls called against us. We were slower, less athletic, always trying to catch up. That’s how you run up a bunch of fouls. We have no in the paint game play.
