Doesn’t say much for the belt.

My immediate reaction was similar, but then...it actually makes me feel bad that young adults are being taken advantage of in the current system by morally unscrupulous people.

Hopefully cautionary tales are heeded as this ____ty era of college athletics continues on.

Lots to read between the lines in this article. Penny kinda threw JB under the bus.

JB became a product of this Transfer portal/NIL era. That’s it. Many more to come.

Penny is a POS so none of this is shocking. His dirty recruiting tactics got James wiseman suspended which ultimately led to him leaving the program after playing one game. I wish I could say Jordan and dion shoulda seen this coming but the dollar signs said other wise. And those dollar signs were just a mirage. For Jordan at least.

Odds are his new agent is on the phone to overseas interests.

Feel bad for Jordan. He is a hell of a player. Yeah, he left us for what he felt was a better opportunity. Usually I begrudgingly say good riddance to players that leave. Just angry
    I guess.

Brown was and could have still been super successful at UL. You can make the NBA from UL. Others have shown that. At least a career in pro ball.

The lure of $ for an 18-22 year old should not be their downfall. But the system has set it up to be as such.

Now we don’t know what’s happening. The optics suck though.

At this time, score another cautionary tale for the grass isn’t always greener.

Can he return to UL now? Would he be accepted back?

He’s done. It’s overseas ball time for JB.

And JB was a soft, trust fund type dude. One sign of adversity and GONE.

JB is a good kid. Just a bit misguided. I’ll leave it at that.
