It really proved nothing because it’s a moving target. They use whatever metric fits. This year it was “Liberty just kept winning.” Next year it will be well they didn’t play anybody. There is absolutely zero standard.

The odds of playing two fcs and finishing 6-6 and not being eligible is low, I'd roll the dice on that everytime and most times at 6-6 you'd get the waiver over a 5-7 team that didn't play fcs
