So maybe they are using this trip to recoup last years loss.
If that’s what they are doing, then they think we are all dumb and can’t do math.

Here is what it would look like at $40

    . . . well, apparently they have out-dumbed themselves . . .

There wasn't a refund; at least we didn't take one.

Didn't think we got refunds from last year for canceling. I know I didn't. Most likely reason for the cost of the trip is the cost to the alumni association to have the trip. I'm pretty confident the AA isn't making a profit on this trip, even if the bus is full.

$7500 for a 2 hour bus ride and a case of Coors light and some Cheetos? Ok, sure.

    . . . the Cheetos are gold plated . . .

Myself also. I am going alone and I just did not want all of the hassle of driving, parking, etc. I rode the bus for the Marshall Bowl game, and it was great. I hope they fill the bus.

Pretty much so and the AA isn't making money off of the trip. The cost for this trip is a lot more than you think - way more than $2000. Also, the trip for the bus is more than 2 hours each way. I'm not exactly sure where it is coming from but it's not Lafayette and the driver was not included in the cost of the bus. The AA was going to use the UL busses but at the last minute were told they were not available so had to have Hotard jump through hoops to get one. Also it's Bud light and Doritos!

    . . . bud light is free, but the Dorito’s are Ali Landry hot . . .

Why couldn’t they use the UL busses?
