Maybe a little more when you include mileage.

    But say its $3000, for a 50 person bus. $3000 / 50 = $60/person

    That would be reasonable.

Last year for the independence bowl it was 160 with game ticket included. It also included entry to the pregame tailgate and 2 complimentary drink tickets.

I wasn’t sure how much these trips usually cost, so I went back through my emails and found the following:

    1. USM basketball 2023 - $100, game ticket included, dinner on the bus
    2. Wally Pontiff 2022 - $55, no game ticket, ticket to pregame party included
    3. UL @ LSU baseball 2023 - $50, SRO game ticket included, pregame party (food provided & first round of drinks)
    4. Monroe 2022 football - $100 w/ game ticket; $80 without; pregame party at Waterfront Grill with meal included.

Contrast that with this trip: $150, no game ticket included, light snack and beverages on the bus, there is a pregame tailgate where beverages and food will be available for purchase. Have to have a game ticket to get in.

I don’t know man. Feels more and more like there’s a huge difference between the type of folks we imagine being interested in Louisiana athletics and those who actually are.

The median income in Lafayette parish is right under 60k...I think these idots are looking at the wrong side of that 60k...What a missed opportunity...

It's hard to disagree; the cost is on the high side. But we went ahead and signed up anyway for convenience. We're getting older and just dont want to make that drive.

Maybe the higher cost will eliminate some of the "riff raff" posting on this board!
