Two years for the Marshal game in New Orleans, they were able to get one bus out of Lake Charles. The team, cheerleaders, band etc locked up all of the busses out of Lafayette. Since then, the University purchased 3 very nice busses. So there should be some available this time around.

Problem is the Alumni Association staff is working graduation that day. Bus availability is not a problem. Finding someone within athletics/RCAF to manage trip is holdup now. Effort being made now to address issue.

I helped with the New Orleans Bowl trip 2 years ago. It doesn’t have to be elaborate. We just need transportation there and back. I’ll buy snacks and drinks for the bus if that helps.

How can it be in place before the season starts when the team has no clue if they will be in a bowl or where the bowl will be if they are playing.

Best part of bus trips are being the first one in the bathroom. Have to set the tone early.
