I really don't think CUSA is living rent free in Sun Belt school's heads. If anything, we're more concerned with AAC. We're much closer to the G5 penthouse than the outhouse. PS I'm tired of this argument that the SBC-West is weak, when we have won the last 3 Championships, all by big margins. South Al pulled off the biggest P5 upset in the G5, badly abusing the Big12 runner-up, but the Jags only finished middle of the pack in the West.

A strong case can be made that we have mediocre records in the West because of greater parity; therefore we are more competitive, not less.

Again, it goes back to the problem of just looking at the W-L record, and not understanding the situation.

You checked the win loss records of west vs east? I haven’t, but UL screwed the pooch this year. Even Troy was.500 in regular season. Those numbers also say a lot.
