While I agree with your concept of 10 conference winners, the P5 will not simply give up five playoff berths to G5's. Next year, the G5 is promised only one of 12 slots or 8.3% of the field. If CFP ever goes to 16 teams (and why not?) G5 conferences should only agree if at least a 2nd slot is promised which makes up 12.5% of the field. Probably best case scenario.
I don' share that view. So, you would like to see a HC that was suspended for running a sign stealing operation win just to see the SEC take a Loss? I'm not under the illusion that any P5 conference gives a poop about UL or the SBC. But I would like to see a good game, but I clearly think Alabama played way better competition with the exception of Ohio St. That gives them an edge in my book, especially on the lines.
Texas is not a playoff team. FSU is. It’s that simple.
Florida St was, they will be a dog against Georgia and any of the top 4. But, while you are upset at the committee, they aren't without fault here, ask the Florida St AD and President why those idiots voted against beginning the 12-team playoff system this year? That's why I'm not crying for them, they cut their own throat and other teams like Georgia that should be in it. The Pac-12, ACC and Big 10 voted against it out of greed.
Bama's biggest victory is getting texas and fsu to argue
