He did say about 60 days in the announcement press conference. It’s on YouTube still so can confirm that

I was under the impression it was going to be an implosion done in like, seconds. Oh well, I'm happy for the change.

Got to go for lunch. Good turnout and pretty exciting watching everything get started. I loved how they started with the elevator tower.

How was the student section turnout? Are the Greeks still in protest?

Given that the semester is all but over I suspect it was pretty low. I suspect the only students around are football players, cheer leaders, band members and basketball players. The campus is dead.

Regardless of semester status, I'd imagine 99% of students don't give 2 schiits about this.
    Just being honest.

Shut it down around 3 on the tower. Kind of cool to see thru the press box.

I never knew the university owned so many pickup trucks.

I guess I should have said I was being sarcastic. There might be some graduating seniors on campus too if it was too far for them to go home and come back for graduation Saturday. I also suspect that many students are not too excited about spending 65 million on a stadium when there may be classroom improvements needing to be made. They probably don't know or don't care it comes from a different funding source.
