I know that Chandler participated in Senior Day, I have a feeling after the bowl game, Chandler will have played his last game as a Cajun. I do believe that we will see him in another uniform next year as a grad transfer. I think he knows that with ZC and "Lunch" he will be relegated to a backup at best. I hate to see the young man go as he has been exactly what the Cajuns have needed in a 3rd string QB. Most teams don't have that kind of depth at QB.

I have been told he wants to become a PT, and will start that pursuit after the bowl game. Obviously things can change if he gets a great opportunity.

Someone mentioned 17 players will portal out. I heard that on this site only. I do know 4 studs that we will have to have some good NIL money to retain.

I was told the 17 players were a total including seniors. Now there may be a few that leave for money, that will be a yearly thing with the NIL.

I know for one of those players, I don't think there's a snowballs chance in hell we can come up with his number. But if we do, it would mean we are in SERIOUS business when it comes to the NIL game....and I mean, SERIOUS!

It is important to note that not all of them may ultimately choose to enter the transfer portal. This count excludes seniors, as their eligibility is typically exhausted upon graduation.

They can announce whenever, but the portal doesn't "officially" open until next week.

You can announce anytime you want, but coaches have to wait until the Portal is officially open to speak to a player directly. Graduate students can speak to Coaches now I believe.
