. . . good chances are that if you can't bump anyone for playing time, they are not worth wanting . . . anywhere . . . and if they are, we may get one season with them and they are gone . . . it takes a crap load of one season players to fill a team . . . and we can only have 85 . . .

You are thinking from a defeatist point of view.

First: Why would a school start a raw 3-star over a proven, experienced, 4-star and two other 4-star players ahead of them? They won't, they never will, so why sign with them in the first place.

I have been using the term "Talent Graveyard" for two decades because that is exactly what they are.

Now add the influx of proven 2-stars to their transfer roles and you have a unique situation of available 3-stars from high school and (raw) 3-star players being spit out the straw.

It takes work and a willingness to recruit players you thought you had no chance at when they were in high school.

. . . maybe after 20 years, you should consider allowing the "Talent Graveyard" to RIP in the graveyard . . . surely you would not be the only one to recognize this as a viable concept over a period of 20 years . . .

Package the massive Jennings DT teammate that hit portal 2 days ago........Trevor Etienne is Florida's 15th portal so far.

I stopped counting.....Has to be well over 100 FBS RBs in portal now. Even more WR. Crazy #'s.

. . . does anyone think we actually have a realistic opportunity to pick up a player like Etienne . . .

So, the cat was let out of the bag supposedly joking the first time. His former HS coach told a friend of mine he is trying to get more money from Napier because he has been offered more by other programs. I will say it again Billy Napier is getting a little taste of his own medicine.

What is 191? # of FBS WR in portal as of this moment. ONE HUNDRED NINETY-ONE

    Vast majority are 3 & 4 stars

    Are you kidding?

Seriously, the talent graveyard scenario is worse now more than ever.

    A buck for a bench.

Over the weekend you were discussing at least they get the money.

That means they wasted their talent for temporary money.
